What problems should be paid attention to when using microphone/microphone?

Many people think that choosing a good quality wireless microphone can avoid all kinds of interference. In fact, the anti-interference problem of the microphone is not directly related to the quality of the microphone itself. Only the correct use of wireless microphones can effectively extend the service life of the microphone and avoid the wrong operation: microphone howling, interference, sound quality distortion and damage to microphone components.

Microphone/microphone when using the need to pay attention to the problem:

1. Don't use it on the net of wireless microphone

Because the receiving part of all microphones has a certain directivity, if you hold the mesh part with your hand, it will change the directivity and frequency response of the microphone, and it will also have effects such as return input and howling due to the aggregation effect of the palm.

2. Do not hold the antenna transmitting part of the microphone

General handheld microphone, its transmitting circuit and antenna is located in the lower part of the microphone (away from the end of the microphone), when the human hand to touch the antenna part, most of the radio frequency energy can not enter the air and lost, reduce the use of wireless systems, affect the receiving effect.

3. Grasping two wireless microphones in one hand is the most serious wrong way

Two or more wireless microphones close together in addition to the problem of high-frequency harmonic interference, more serious is the occurrence of microphone audio phase and directional interference phenomenon, destroying the original normal sound quality characteristics of the microphone.

4, avoid and microphone "kiss"

When using a handheld wireless microphone, the distance between the microphone and the mouth is generally kept at 5-10cm. If it is too close, it will produce a near-speaking effect. If it is too far away, the sound quality will be damaged. When using a collar microphone, prevent the microphone from being too far away from the mouth and try to get close to the mouth. When using a headband microphone, it should be moved to both sides to avoid the impact of the sound flow.

5. Avoid using the wireless microphone facing the speaker

If the microphone is pointed directly at the speaker, a closed loop is formed for the entire system, which will produce positive feedback (howling), which must be avoided.

6. Avoid tapping the microphone and blowing into the microphone when testing the sound.

Because the pickup part of the microphone is relatively precise and the components are very delicate, slapping the microphone or blowing on the microphone head can easily cause damage or component displacement, ultimately affecting the sound quality.
